The Venue

What is your capacity?

Anywhere from 20-160 in the daytime and up to 250 in the evening. We don’t have a minimum number requirement & offer multiple packages to suit your needs from intimate to larger weddings.

What time does the event finish? 

Our bar and music finishes at 12.30am.

Do you provide table decorations?

We don’t provide table decorations as we want you to put your own stamp on your day, however we do provide all of your tables, chairs, linens, glassware etc & have lots of lovely suppliers we can recommend that can help to bring your décor vision to life!

Do we have a coordinator for the day?

Yes, we will be with you from beginning to end! We are a small and dedicated team here at Henblas, supporting you throughout the entire planning process & coordinating/managing your wedding day so that all you have to do is enjoy your day! We’re here to take the stress away!

Are candles permitted?

Yes of course as long as they have a suitable base.

Do you allow fireworks?

Unfortunately, due to the livestock, we do not allow fireworks on site however sparklers are always a lovely alternative!

Do you allow confetti?

Yes of course, although we ask that you use dried petals rather than paper as this can blown into the livestock fields next door!

Do you have parking?

We have plenty of car parking across our two car parks and we have an overflow field should we need more!

Do you provide the table settings?

Yes we provide the tables, chairs, table linen, napkins, glassware and the caters provide the crockery and cutlery.

Do you provide a cake stand?

Yes we have both a square and a round silver cake stand and a knife for your use.

Do you charge to use the ceremony room?

No, this is included in your venue hire.

Can we have a tasting?

Yes of course, this can be arranged with the catering team directly.

Do you allow corkage?

Unfortunately, we don’t  allow corkage however our drinks packages are very reasonable to reflect this and we’re sure you’ll find what you’re looking for behind our fully stocked bars!

What is the deposit procedure?

We are very flexible with holding a date provisionally to allow you to take the time to contact suppliers. When you’re happy to go ahead, we would then require a £2,000 deposit with a £300 refundable damage waiver to secure your date.

What time can we arrive on the day?

Our bridal preparation room is open from 8am and the groom preparation room is available from 11am, both fully stocked with everything you need to start preparations for the big day!

Can we have access to the venue the day before?

Unfortunately, as the venue is exclusive use, the venue may be in use the day before your wedding. In this instance we would arrange a drop off of all your items and we would set these out for you overnight, so you arrive in the morning to your wedding set & ready to go!

What time is departure?

Check out is at 11am after breakfast.

The Ceremony

Do you charge to use the ceremony room?

No, this is included in the venue hire.

How do we book the ceremony? 

For a civil ceremony, you will need to contact the registrars at Llangefni registry office on 01248 751 925.

Can we have live music or plug in a playlist for the ceremony?

Yes of course, we can accommodate live musicians, or we can arrange to play your playlist through our system.

Food and Drink

What time does the bar close?

Both the bar and the music finish at 12.30am.

Who provides the food for the day? 

We work exclusively with Barretts Event Caterers (our sister company), who will provide a wonderful meal for your wedding breakfast. We don’t not permit any other caterers for the day with the exception of specialist caterers such as Asian, Kosher or African catering.

Can we have a tasting?

Yes of course, this can be arranged with our caterer directly.

Do you allow corkage?

Unfortunately, we don’t  allow corkage however our drinks packages are very reasonable to reflect this and we’re sure you’ll find what you’re looking for behind our fully stocked bars!

Deposits and Payments

What is the deposit procedure?

When do we need to pay the balance?

The final balance will be due after your final appointment which is 8 weeks prior to the wedding date.

Do you charge VAT?

VAT is included in all our pricing.

Accommodation

How many rooms do you have?

We have ten rooms on site, sleeping at total of 20 guests including the bride and groom. We also have 6 single beds and several cots to add for children.

Do we need to take all the bedrooms? 

No, this is not a requirement for the wedding day itself, you only take as many or as few as you require. If you are taking the rooms for the night before the wedding, then we would require all to be booked. 

Can we stay over the night before?

If the venue is not booked the day before your wedding, 3 months prior to the date, we can arrange this however all ten rooms would need to be taken.

What time can we check in?

Check in is from 2pm.

What time is departure?

Check out is at 11am after breakfast.

Do you provide breakfast with the rooms?

Yes, this is included in the bedroom hire and is serviced in the breakfast room at 9.30am the following day. Our chef provides a full cooked breakfast, pastries & croissants along with mini yogurts with homemade granola.
